Earlier tonight in Hamilton, the Bulldogs took on the Abbotsford Heat in an attempt to snap their 3 game losing streak. There was no score after the first and the shots were 12-11 in favour of the Bulldogs. 3 minutes into the second, Horaks shot from the slot beat Mayer to make it 1-0 Heat.  3 minutes later, Pateryn played the puck to Geoffrion at the top of the right circle and he ripped a shot past Taylor to tie the game. A few minutes later with the Bulldogs on the powerplay, Geoffrion (on the right wing) slapped a pass to Palushaj in the slot and he redirected a shot into the back of the net to give Hamilton the lead.

In the third, the shots were 8-5 for the Bulldogs as they didn't coincide a goal and they didn't score a goal as they win 2-1. In the win, Mayer was great, he played like a young Patrick Roy and he made 28 saves. In the loss, Taylor made 28 save. The Bulldogs next game will be on November 2nd against Rochester on TSN RADIO 990 and FUNNY 820am.
