Last night in Toronto, it was the final game of the home and home set between the Bulldogs and Marlies. 51 seconds in, Kadri centred the puck for McKegg and he scored to give the Marlies the lead. 6 minutes later, Aucion came up the right wing and centred the puck right to Ryan and he scored on the one timer to make it 2-0 Toronto.  When the teams lined up at center ice to take the draw after thegoal, Dumont and Acton were talking. Right off the faceoff, the fisks went flying as it was the first fight of the night. Both guys got good shots in but it was Dumont who took Acton down.Just over the half way point of the period, the Marlies came in on a 3 on1. Holzer played the puck to Aucoin and he fired a shot and it was stopped but Ryan was there to put home the rebound to make it 3-0.

That was it for Mayer, he gave up 3 goals on six shots. So it was Delmas that came into replace him. With under 5 minutes to play in the first, Blake Geoffrion dropped the gloves with Kenny Ryan. Geoffrion would take Ryan down. So the Bulldogs continued to win fights but they weren't winning the game. 5 minutes into the second, with the Marlies powerplay just expiring, Gardiners point shot was tipped in by Deschamps to extend the lead. 2 minutes later, Kostka fired a shot past Delmas to make it 5-0. Right off the next faceoff, Hagel and Fraser dropped the gloves. The fight ended in a draw.

Late in the second, Blunden dropped the gloves with Holzer and Louis Le Blanc got into a wrestling match with Blacker. Louis LeBlanc fell to the ice and was hurt.  He may have injuried his right knee as he was helped off the ice by two trainers. He left the game and didn't return. The Bulldogs had chances in this game. They even outshot the Marlies 31-14. But they couldn't beat Jussi Rynnas as he gets his first shutout of the season in a 5-0 win. In the loss, Delmas made 16 saves. In the win, Rynnas made 31 saves. The Bulldogs next game is Tuesday night against Rochester on Tuesday night on TSN RADIO 990.
